  Like a pop-up book, a new winery has materialized from the surrounding terrain in Naramata. Ledlin Family Vineyards. It was fast, last time we were here, the terrain had been cleared but nothing built.
  
  It’s a fantastic place to visit, especially since you’ll probably be unable to visit Quidni next door. Like Quidni, Ledlin Family Vineyards is right off the main road, so you can’t miss it. It’s a simplistic yet beautiful collection of wood and glass, with a balcony overlooking fields, houses, and surely future wineries. The limited selection of wines are above average and worth a purchase, but I will stress limited. Remember, this is a new winery. There is nothing wrong with that, and I love supporting new businesses. But all their wines are from 2015 and with only two varietals of Pinot Gris, a Chardonnay, a rose Cabernet Franc, a Merlot, a Cabernet Franc, and a Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s certainly a traditional line up. The host was amazing, and Ledlin shows exceptional promise for the future. Yes, admittedly, there is not a lot that rises above the rest. It paints within the lines. I don’t have an issue if it’s done well. And the wine is really good, if not, I would’ve dismissed this place in an instant. Thankfully, they score when it counts.
